ProSpore®
ProSpore®ampoule is a self-contained biological indicator for validating steam sterilization of large liquid loads suggested for 2L or more.
ProSpore contains 3.5 - 3.9 mL of a spore/medium suspension sealed inside a 4 mL pharmaceutical-grade glass ampoule. Growth is evident by either turbidity and/or a color change from purple to or toward yellow within 48 hours at 57ºC.
The flat bottom also allows the ampoule to be set next to a container of liquid of the same size and the liquid is a similar viscosity.
For use with the Prospore© Incubator.
